![]() Is Assassin’s Creed Suffering From Series Fatigue? ![]() That’s because of some rather cack-handed terminology Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has shipped 11 million copies (and therefore have been sold to retailers in the first place) but 11 million people haven’t necessarily bought them so depending on how many people are letting the game sit dusty on a store shelf the sales are another question entirely. ![]() As a result, while the official Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag sales figures says that the enjoyable pirate romp has technically sold 11 million, how many of those copies are actually in the hands of players is an entirely different question. This new boatload of shipping statistics comes from Ubisoft’s financial report, who are a good source for things like the sales of Ubisoft games but when it comes down to it, they’re more than a little biased towards themselves.
